Siamo Moth
Un tempo le falene si orientavano con la luna, ma da quando esistono le luci artificiali vagano
e rischiano di essere disfatte dal calore. Una metafora dell’uomo moderno, smarrito tra una miriade di luci false. La poetica che proponiamo è una forma di orientamento per ritrovare la luna.

Ma cos’è la luna? Per Moth è l’arte, gli effetti che produce, come la bellezza, l’indignazione, il senso di libertà o di ribellione; ciò che ci connette all’altro, che ci fa instaurare legami profondi e intimi; l’arte che ci induce a stare nel mondo con una certa presenza, con un’etica ben salda, l’arte che ci mette in discussione, sradicata dalle élite per appartenere a tutti, con la consapevolezza di quanto sia importante abitare i luoghi reali, senza dimenticare gli spazi del digitale, e farlo rimanendo sempre fedeli alla propria poetica.
Questa è la nostra, la poetica della falena.
Quando abbiamo dato vita a Moth, il primo passo è stato chiederci quali fossero le nostre parole fondanti. Sapevamo che sarebbero state cinque.
In quanto narratori e narratrici, lavoriamo con le parole: queste sono le nostre:
perché tutto ciò che ha senso prende forma in un racconto
perché non esiste verità senza esporsi, almeno un po’
perché la visione ha bisogno di bellezza, ritmo e deviazione
perché il presente passa anche da qui, e va abitato con coscienza
perché senza attenzione, niente ha davvero luogo
